Before you jump to Eclair Squares recipe, you may want to read this short interesting healthy tips about Make Healthy Eating A Part of Your Day-To-Day Life.

Making the decision to eat healthily offers many benefits and is becoming a more popular way of living. There are numerous illnesses associated with a poor diet and there is a cost to the overall economy as people suffer from health problems such as heart disease and hypertension. There are more and more efforts to try to get us to adopt a more healthy way of living and still it is also easier than ever to rely on fast, convenient food that is very bad for our health. It is likely that lots of people feel it will take a lot of effort to eat a healthy diet or that they have to make a large scale change to the way they live. It is possible, though, to make some minor changes that can start to make a good impact on our day-to-day eating habits.

One initial thing you can do is to pay close attention to the choices you make when you’re at the grocery since you most likely purchase lots of food items out of habit. As an example, most probably you have never checked the box of your favorite cereal to find out how much sugar it has. Having a bowl of oatmeal will provide you with the energy to face the day while protecting your heart at the same time. Mix in fruits or spices to improve the flavor and now you have a breakfast that can be a usual part of your new healthy diet.

Thus, it should be fairly obvious that it’s not hard to add healthy eating to your everyday life.

We hope you got benefit from reading it, now let’s go back to eclair squares recipe. You can have eclair squares using 7 ingredients and 8 steps. Here is how you do that.

The ingredients needed to make Eclair Squares:
  1. You need 19 4/5 oz Brownie mix
  2. Get 3 oz Vanilla pudding mix
  3. Get Frosting:
  4. Provide 1 oz Unsweetened chocolate
  5. Take 2 tbsp Shortening (Crisco)
  6. Prepare 2 tbsp Milk (or heavy cream)
  7. You need 3/4 cup Powdered sugar
Steps to make Eclair Squares:
  1. Follow the instructions on the brownie mix box to make a cake-like brownie and bake it in a 23 x 23 cm brownie tin. Once the brownies are in the oven, follow the instructions on the box of the vanilla pudding mix to make the vanilla pudding.
  2. The ingredients that you will need to make the brownies and vanilla pudding (egg, water, milk, etc.) aren't included in the above ingredients list so please check them yourself. Allow the baked brownies and vanilla pudding to cool to room temperature.
  3. Once both the brownie and vanilla pudding have cooled to room temperature, pour the vanilla pudding on top of the brownie.
  4. Add the frosting ingredients to a heat-resistant bowl and melt them together in the microwave. (Heating time will vary depending on the wattage of the microwave so adjust it accordingly. I melted the ingredients for around 30 seconds using a 1200 W model).
  5. The frosting ingredients will separate in the microwave but if you add the powdered sugar in 3 batches, stirring gently after each addition, the frosting should become nice and smooth. When the frosting is complete, pour it over the vanilla pudding and leave the whole pudding to chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  6. Cut the cake into whatever size you like and serve. (After about 1 day the frosting will begin to melt so serve this on the day that you make it if possible.)
  7. Try pouring the frosting over the pudding like this.
  8. These are the boxes of pre-made mix that I used this time.
