- Take 1 medium or large ripe avocado (depending on how much you like)
- Get 2-3 hard boiled eggs
- Use 3 and 1/2 bunches of lettuce (medium sized)
- Provide 1/2 of a small cabbage
- You need 1 medium onion
- Provide 1 medium bell pepper (colour of choice)
- You need 1 small cucumber
- Take 2 medium sized tomatoes
- Use 2 large canned sardines
- Use 1 large carrot
- Provide 1 medium garlic clove
- Get 4 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
- Take 1 small lemon

Instructions to make Simple Salad Recipe:
- Wash all the vegetables and avocado in salted water.
- Next, peel and remove the seed of the avocado and cut into cubes. Also, finely dice the garlic, shred the cabbage, cube the hard boiled egg, tear up the lettuce leaves, cut up the onions, bell pepper and tomatoes into desired shapes and sizes. Peel and seed the cucumber and cube it. Grate the carrot as well. With a fork, mash up the sardines to finish and pour all of these into a large mixing bowl starting with the lettuce.
- To finish, drizzle over the oil and lemon juice and salt to taste. Mix thoroughly till everything is well combined and all the vegetables are coated. Enjoy as is or pour over some salad cream or vinigrette. (If the vinigrette is sour, leave out the lemon juice.)
